Nourished Neighbors: Redefining Health
Every Thursday, September 1, 2022, through October 6, 2022
Nourished Neighbors welcomes you to the Redefining Health workshop series 🌸✌🏽 every Thursday at Ashland Place's Community Room.
Redefining Health invites you to be authentic, bold, and confident as we lead you through our workshop topics of mental, physical, and emotional wellness. Our approach will expand your understanding of health, self, and community. We will equip you with daily exercises to practice, stress management techniques, and nutrition education to guide you on your wellness journey.
This workshop requires critical self-introspection and is worthwhile. There will be laughter, tears, and food, and most importantly, there will be growth at the end.
We welcome all ages 18+ and all cultures. If you're interested in signing up or have questions about this workshop series, please email our wellness coordinator, Aliyah, at email@example.com, or DM us!
Nourished Neighbors look forward to redefining health with you! 🌴✨
Monday – Thursday, August 29 – September 22
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Our 12-week kitchen training program connects system-impacted residents to food jobs with competitive pay, positive work environments, and growth opportunities. Additionally, we provide fair chance employment resources to local food businesses to support their efforts for employing a workforce that accurately reflects the demographics of Alameda County. With these actions, we are committed to seeing a shift towards a more equitable food community in the Bay Area.
