Workshop is Open!
Hiring your first employee is a major milestone, but how do you know when the time is right? This workshop will provide insight into determining when to hire, understanding worker classifications, and meeting the key legal requirements for bringing on your first employee in California. You’ll learn how to prepare your business for growth and ensure you’re set up for a smooth hiring process.
Everyone who attends the workshop will get a checklist to help with completing the steps of hiring your first employee. This workshop is hosted by Mandela Partners and East Bay Community Law Center.

Following the workshops, you will have the option to sign up for 30-minute legal consultations every first Tuesday of every month, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, all virtual.
